On 8–9 June, the A-IQ Ready partners gathered in Tampere, Finland, for the project’s final review meeting, marking the successful conclusion of three years of collaborative work.

Throughout its duration, A-IQ Ready has focused on advancing intelligent and autonomous Electronic Components and Systems (ECS) for the digital age. The project has made significant progress in key technological areas, including edge continuum orchestration for artificial intelligence, distributed collaborative intelligence, and quantum sensing.

During the meeting, partners presented the achievements of the final year and showcased the project’s demonstrations. Among the highlights, the Finnish partners delivered an impressive demonstration of heavy transportation at industrial sites, complemented by autonomous container transport using an autonomous terminal tractor. In addition, EDI presented the setup and capabilities of its quantum sensor, illustrating the project’s innovation in advanced sensing technologies.

A-IQ Ready leaves behind a strong legacy of innovation, collaboration, and technological advancement, paving the way for future developments in intelligent autonomous systems. The project delivered advanced technologies in AI-enabled sensing, autonomous systems, and edge computing, enabling intelligent systems capable of operating reliably in complex and harsh environments. By combining advanced Quantum sensors, energy-efficient AI processors, distributed diagnostics, and hybrid computing platforms, the project significantly advanced the capabilities of autonomous monitoring, decision-making, and industrial automation. These innovations strengthen European industrial competitiveness by supporting the development of new high-tech products, platforms, and engineering tools for sectors such as automotive, robotics, logistics, and infrastructure monitoring. The project also contributes to the European semiconductor and embedded systems ecosystem through the use of open architectures and scalable AI solutions for edge and hybrid computing. In addition, the project enhances safety, efficiency, and resilience in critical environments. Technologies developed for autonomous navigation, human–machine interaction, and infrastructure monitoring improve operational safety and enable earlier detection of potential risks. Finally, the project promotes more sustainable industrial practices by enabling energy-efficient computing, optimized logistics operations, and smarter monitoring systems that reduce resource consumption and environmental impact.

Thanks a lot to all Work Package and Supply Chain leaders for their dedication and commitment in delivering the project’s results. A special thank you also goes to all partners for their active participation, strong collaboration, and contributions throughout the project.
