Fostering Innovation in Quantum Technologies

ree

In early October, A-IQ Ready project representatives — Reiner John (Project Coordinator, AVL) and Johannes Wesseler (FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg) — participated in a research retreat in Stralsund, Germany.

The event brought together leading experts in the field — Roland Nagy (Nagy Lab for Applied Quantum Technologies), Florian Kaiser (Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology – LIST), and Heinrich Heiss (PhD, Infineon Technologies) — alongside early-career researchers and PhD students. Together, they exchanged ideas across quantum sensing, computing, and communication, fostering collaboration and inspiring new research directions and applications.

During the meeting, Johannes Wesseler presented the State of the Art and ongoing quantum sensing efforts across several Chips JU projects, including A-IQ Ready, ARCHIMEDES, Cynergy4MIE, and the MOSAIC EU Project — all united by a common vision: building an integrated quantum system.

We are proud to contribute to the advancement of cutting-edge science and the development of innovative quantum technologies!
